Jimmy Greeley has worked in a variety of roles throughout his a long career in media. He first worked in RTE as a radio announcer with the station and later worked as an announcer on television. Jimmy has worked as a presenter Radio 1. He’s been a disc jockey Radio 2. He also worked as a newscaster with RTE TV and has been a producer/presenter with both RTE 1 and 2. At 98fm he worked as a news anchor and programme presenter.
He currently works as a radio presenter on 4FM.
Laura Fryday
Laura M. Fryday, BA (Hons) TCD, MA (Hons) Film UCD. A graduate of Dublin University Trinity College and University College Dublin, Laura has worked in the past on corporate and promotional video production, short fiction film production and in Community Television production.
She has lectured on both TV Radio and Video for the Public Relations Diploma and H Dip in Public Relations run by the Irish Academy of Public Relations in UCD over the last 14years. During this time she was also the National External Examiner for both the PRII in TV & Video Production module on its diploma and the HETAC validated H Dip in Public Relations TV and Video Production.
Laura has, in the past, also been a director of Film Base (centre for film and video production) and was Chairperson of the Board of Directors. Duties while on the board of directors of Film Base included sitting on the RTE Film Base Short Film Awards selection panel on a number of occasions. She was also co-opted to the board of Women in Film and Television Ireland in 1998 and served on this board till 2000.
At present Laura lecturers Film, Television, Video Production and Media Analysis at Dun Laoghaire College of Further Education where she is Media Coordinator for the Film and Television Department. She has written a number of FETAC level 5 and level 6 modules in Film, TV and Video Production which are in use, including the level 6 module in TV Studio Production.
